The Polar Charity Ball
The Polar Horizon Charity Ball took place on Saturday, October 28th. It was held at the Stratford Manor Hotel, just outside Stratford Upon Avon, very close to Leamington Spa.

The de-brief:...WHAT A NIGHT?!?!
Thanks so much for everyone who came on the 28th - it was absolutely fantastic! We hope that everyone enjoyed it as much as we did!
A couple of things to mention from the evening...firstly, thank you all so much for you kind donations. We raised an amazing amount of money that blew away even our own expectations! If you won a prize, & have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the team at info@polarhorizon.co.uk
The second thing is....WELL DONE FOR BREAKING THE HOTEL ALCOHOL RECORD! Superb effort by everyone there! I think the couple of “train crashes” which were on show during the evening, & the sore heads on the Sunday were testament to the fact that EVERYONE contributed to this feat! Thanks! ;-)

The team held their leaving party on March 17th in Leamington Spa. An informal affair which gave the team an opportunity to say goodbye to everyone before they depart for Canada on April 1st.
The Leaving Party - March 17th ’07....
The team leave for the expedition on April 1st. Ahead of that we invited everyone who’s been following our progress to The Fox at the top of town in Leamington Spa on the evening of Saturday, March 17th.
